What you’ll be doing:

  • An exciting opportunity has become available within the Commercial OKYC Team, supporting the delivery of continuous client verification processes for Fiduciaries, Funds & Corporate (FF&C) clients.
  • Support customer due diligence and ongoing KYC (Know Your Customer) reviews within Client Delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with Group policies, local laws, and Economic Crime Prevention (ECP) rules across the Crown Dependencies.
  • As a member of a dedicated due diligence team, you’ll assess customer information, identify potential economic crime risks and undertake periodic and trigger event reviews to ensure customer records remain accurate, complete and aligned to policy requirements and risk appetite.

The role requires solid knowledge of customer due diligence principles, AML (Anti Money Laundering) requirements, and FF&C client structures. It also includes recognising risk indicators and advancing more complex matters where needed.

In this role you’ll:

  • Carry out ongoing Customer Due Diligence (CDD), including periodic and trigger event reviews for Fiduciaries, Funds and Corporate clients.
  • Gather, analyse and verify customer information, assessing ownership and control structures and raising complex arrangements where appropriate.
  • Identify and assess potential economic crime risks in line with relevant policies, regulatory requirements and agreed risk appetite.
  • Complete high-quality CDD reviews within agreed service levels, ensuring risks are understood, appropriately challenged and addressed.
  • Build effective collaborator relationships, providing support through mentorship to help meet due diligence requirements.
  • Prioritise workloads effectively, maintain accurate records and management information, and contribute to continuous improvement of OKYC processes and controls.

What we’re looking for:

  • Good understanding of AML, Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Economic Crime Prevention requirements.
  • Experience reviewing corporate, fiduciary or fund customer information and documentation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of applying a risk-based approach and good judgement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality work within agreed timescales.
  • Ability to work independently, following defined procedures and support while recognising when complex issues need to be brought up.

And any experience of these would be great:

  • Able to build and maintain effective internal and external partner relationships.
  • Take ownership of queries and issues through to resolution.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations effectively, providing clear and appropriate updates.
  • Remain effective and composed when working under pressure.
