We’re looking for a senior manager to provide leadership to a diverse, multidisciplinary team responsible for building innovative technological capabilities required for delivering a high-profile, regulatory programme. A critical role within the Motor Resolutions programme, you'll need to work closely with Platforms and suppliers to design solutions that provide good outcomes to large numbers of customers. This is a unique opportunity to shape outcomes for customers at scale, where you'll be required to thrive in a dynamic, complex and high-profile programme. Success will involve an ability to lead your team with a relentless focus on execution whilst maintaining a deep customer understanding and control-mindset.
SALARY: £78,098 - £91,880
LOCATIONS: Newport, Belfast, Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Chester, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Halifax, Hove, Leeds or Manchester
HOURS: Full time, 35 hours per week
WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid. Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of your time, at one of our office sites.
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY: We're looking for a Senior Manager – Operational Design & Transformation, who'll play a critical leadership role within our Motor Resolutions programme. This is a unique opportunity to shape outcomes for millions of customers as we build and deliver a major regulatory programme. Working at the heart of a high-profile, fast-paced programme, you'll lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for designing and delivering the technology, tooling and operational capabilities needed to support the scheme at scale. This role offers significant scope to influence strategy, ways of working and delivery outcomes. You'll lead a complex portfolio of change, balancing customer focus, governance, delivery excellence and innovation in an environment where the impact of your decisions will be seen across the organisation and by millions of customers.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
- Leading a diverse team responsible for the design and delivery of technology-enabled operational solutions.
- Overseeing a portfolio of complex change initiatives from concept through to implementation and continuous improvement.
- Collaborating with platform teams, suppliers and technical specialists to design scalable solutions using modern technology, data and AI.
- Creating an inclusive, high-performing culture across geographically distributed teams in the UK and India.
- Embedding governance, traceability and control-by-design principles into every delivery.
- Building strong relationships across programme teams, Group functions, suppliers and senior business partners to drive successful outcomes.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Leadership – Strong ability to inspire, develop and motivate high performing teams. Demonstrates exceptional coaching skills, resilience and the ability to set high standards through clarity and challenge.
- Change Delivery – A strong track record of leading complex portfolios of change and delivering successful outcomes in regulated environments.
- Tech, Data & AI Literacy – The ability to work confidently with technical specialists, understand technology and data concepts, and shape technology-enabled solutions.
- Governance and Control – Experience embedding robust governance frameworks, risk management and control-by-design approaches within change delivery.
- Managing Key Relationships – Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across complex environments, including suppliers, operational teams and senior leaders.
- Customer Centricity – A strong customer first mindset, able to provide an exceptional experience while meeting regulatory expectations and scheme outcomes.
