Qualification: Level 3 Housing & Property Management apprenticeship

Build your future from the ground up. Our secret to keeping our properties safe, compliant and ready for customers to move in at any given time? The Lloyds Living Property Management (LLPM) team. They work with Lloyds Living and take care of it all – from supporting our customers through move-in and move-out to managing tenancies, maintaining the professionally managed homes, and helping everyone feel safe.

As a Level 3 Housing & Property Management apprentice, you’ll get to be in the thick of the action.

The work you could be doing:

  • Joining the LLPM team means it’ll be up to you to bring Lloyds Living to life for our customers every day.
  • You’ll rotate through Lettings, Customer Operations, and then Property Operations.
  • You’ll also get hands-on with helping customers find high-quality homes they can move into.
  • Ensure all our properties are well looked after, and issues are resolved quickly.
  • Bring your professionalism and care to every interaction.
  • Gain first-hand insider knowledge on how professionally managed homes are run.

Even better? You’ll also get to work with our charity partner, Regeneration Brainery, where you’ll support young people from diverse backgrounds to make a career in the property and regeneration sector.

The lesson before the leap:

At the same time, you’ll be working towards your Level 3 Housing & Property Management apprenticeship with a dedicated training provider. You’ll build a solid foundation in how the housing sector operates, learn how to navigate tenancies and make customer experience your priority.

You’ll also learn how to:

  • Manage a full tenancy lifecycle – from lettings and contracts through the end of tenancy.
  • Navigate the inner workings of the legal and regulatory framework that governs landlord and tenant law.
  • Keep houses safe by managing repairs and running regular maintenance work.
  • Manage all stakeholders, including helping customers when a problem arises.
  • Respond to real-world challenges like anti-social behaviour and supporting vulnerable customers.

Your future. Fully backed:

By the end of the apprenticeship, you’ll have:

  • Level 3 Housing & Property Management Apprenticeship (A-level equivalent).
  • Several years of real-world experience combined with classroom learning.
  • Opportunity to progress or gain membership with professional bodies like ARLA Propertymark or the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH).

Requirements:

  • You’ll need to be at least 18 years old on 1st September 2027.
  • 5 GCSEs grades 4-9 including English & Maths (achieved).

Important information:

An additional requirement for the apprenticeship position is that you must currently possess a valid Right to Work in the UK. Your visa end date must extend beyond the duration of the apprenticeship programme, which will last up to three years. Due to Home Office requirements regarding Skilled Workers, we’re unable to accept applications for visa sponsorship for our apprenticeship roles as the proposed salary for the role does not meet the minimum threshold.

This programme is based in Manchester. With our hybrid policy, you’ll spend four days a week in the office with a young and dynamic team. If your commute exceeds 1.5 hours, we strongly recommend relocating closer to the office to ensure consistent attendance in line with contractual and hybrid working expectations.

About working for us:

Our ambition is to be the leading UK business for diversity, equity and inclusion supporting our customers, colleagues and communities and we’re committed to creating an environment in which everyone can thrive, learn and develop.

We offer reasonable workplace adjustments for colleagues with disabilities, including flexibility in office attendance, location and working patterns.

You will join us on a fixed apprenticeship salary. Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, you will be re-graded, with your pay range consistent with the job family for your business area.

We also offer a wide-ranging benefits package, which includes:

  • A generous pension contribution of up to 15%.
  • An annual performance-related bonus.
