JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:

LOCATIONS: London, Bristol or Leeds

HOURS: Full-time

WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites. Colleagues with disabilities can be supported with workplace adjustments including hybrid working expectations in line with our Flexibility Works policy.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Work collaboratively alongside a full design team and take full ownership of their design output.
  • Present work to stakeholders and adapt designs based on feedback from user research and usability testing.
  • Skilfully craft the end-to-end user experience, bringing together a cohesive journey step by step.
  • Use prototyping software such as Figma to bring designs to life.
  • Balance business requirements with user needs by gathering user research and rationale.
  • Be adaptable to the technical constraints of different platforms while providing guidance on creating the best possible end user experience.
  • Advocate for customer inclusion and create inclusive and accessible designs.

What we’re looking for:

  • Demonstrable experience within User Experience design/Interaction Design.
  • Strong experience as an Interaction Designer, UX Designer, or possibly from a Visual Design background.
  • Full ownership of the Interaction Design project.
  • Excellent prototyping and layout skills.
  • Comfortable using existing design systems and proactively recommending improvements.
  • Ability to interpret quantitative and qualitative research to inform the interaction design process.
  • Familiarity working in a complex landscape, ideally in financial services.
  • A collaborative mindset to work closely with a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Strong ability to see designs through to delivery, ensuring they meet specifications.
  • Strong advocacy of customer inclusivity and accessibility.
