What you’ll be doing…

As a Senior Cyber Security Specialist within the Threat Lab, you’ll play a leading role in shaping how Lloyds Banking Group develops and applies Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) across its supply chain and third-party ecosystem. You’ll lead the transformation of how threat intelligence is gathered, enriched and analysed - employing modern CTI tooling, structured analytic techniques and data-driven approaches.

A key part of the role is enhancing and exploiting intelligence platforms, including the use of graph-based models and threat intelligence graphs to connect, enrich and contextualise complex datasets, enabling deeper insight into threat actors, campaigns and supply chain exposure. Using this technical capability, you’ll convert complex, multi-source threat data into high-quality, decision-focused intelligence that directly supports risk management, incident response and strategic security outcomes.

Working closely with cyber, technology and business partners, you’ll ensure intelligence outputs are trusted, embedded and actively used to inform decisions. You’ll play a key role in identifying and analysing threats targeting suppliers and third parties, strengthening the organisation’s ability to detect, assess and respond to supply chain risk. Alongside this, you’ll drive continuous improvement in CTI tooling, processes and tradecraft—exploring how automation, data integration and advanced analytics can improve intelligence quality, speed and impact, while providing technical and people leadership across the team.

Why Join us?

If you think all banks are the same, you’re wrong. We’re a pioneering, fast-changing business that’s shaping finance as a force for good. If you’re after a role where you can have an impact and do the best work of your career, you’ve just found it.

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong Cyber Threat Intelligence experience, including threat actor analysis, campaign tracking, and producing high-quality, decision-focused intelligence outputs.
  • Deep technical expertise in CTI tooling and platforms, with hands-on experience enhancing tooling, integrating data sources, and improving intelligence workflows.
  • Experience working with graph-based data models or threat intelligence graphs to connect, enrich and analyse complex threat data.
  • Ability to translate complex technical intelligence and data into clear, actionable insight for both technical and non-technical customers.
  • Good understanding of supply chain and third-party risk, and how CTI can be applied to identify and assess threats targeting suppliers and ecosystems.
  • Proven ability to drive improvements in CTI processes, tooling and data quality, with a focus on increasing impact, scalability and efficiency.
  • Strong collaboration and leadership skills, including line management, with the ability to influence partners and embed intelligence into risk-based decision making.
  • A forward-thinking attitude with an interest in automation, analytics and modern data approaches to enhance cyber security outcomes.

And it would be great if you had any of the following...

  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM or CISMP.
