This is a full time, permanent role based in Halifax, Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh, Leeds or Newport.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:

The Personal Assistant (PA) for two Directors covering Customer & Product and Commercial & Markets Risk (CCOR) is the first point of contact for the team, providing secretarial and administrative support across varied tasks, whilst developing and maintaining strong relationships.

In this role you’ll:

  • Plan and prioritise a demanding schedule and produce comprehensive information to support all appointments.
  • Ensure record keeping of the office is kept to a high standard and is in line with the Executive Handbook, Group policies and standards.
  • Gather and provide information on a wide range of topics, including material for various committees.
  • Identify, monitor and mitigate risks, escalating where appropriate and undertake project work as required.
  • Use initiative to prioritise workflow during absence, manage diaries to achieve optimum time effectiveness and arrange travel.

What we’re looking for:

  • Minimum 1 years’ experience in a PA or similar administrative support role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to build effective working relationships.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and work at pace.
  • Strong IT skills, including word processing and experience using a range of software packages.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and present information clearly and concisely.
  • High attention to detail, with discretion, reliability and an understanding of confidentiality requirements.

And any experience of these would be great: A working knowledge of Risk Function is desired but not essential.
