Responsibilities

  • Join the Assured Build team, engineering and scaling secure, automated solutions across LBG.
  • Build automation, integrate security baselines into engineering workflows, and enable secure‑by‑design delivery by embedding Security Relevant Configuration (SRC) controls into code, pipelines, and platform tooling.
  • Develop and enhance services that reduce manual effort, improve consistency, and increase coverage of security assurance across infrastructure and software.
  • Contribute to enterprise‑scale automation (CI/CD integration, tooling, data‑driven reporting) to deliver resilient, scalable, and frictionless security outcomes.
  • Assure security configurations in both static build artefacts and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Drive greater automation, consistency, and reuse of security artefacts.
  • Embed security earlier into the engineering lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Experience in software engineering and DevOps practices, preferably in large‑scale or enterprise environment.
  • Experience with scripting and programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, PowerShell and working with pipelines or automation tooling.
  • Hands‑on technical experience with the ability to write, fix, and improve code.
  • A broad understanding of cyber security domains, including cloud security (Azure and/or GCP).
  • An outcome‑focused approach, delivering end‑to‑end solutions with attention to detail.
  • Strong understanding of secure‑by‑design principles across the development lifecycle.
  • Passion for automating repetitive tasks and improving engineering efficiency.
  • Clear understanding of containerisation technologies and associated tooling (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and repository‑based workflows such as GitHub.

Additional Skills

  • Exposure to vulnerability scanning, configuration assurance, or security tooling.
  • Working with databases and data‑driven solutions.
  • Building automation or workflow solutions (e.g. Power Platform).
