As the Regional Director for the SME division, you will provide strategic leadership across the Midlands, Wales and North West. You will act as the face of LBG Manufacturing in the market, drive growth of the SME and manufacturing portfolios, and manage a team of Area Directors and Relationship Managers.
Key Accountabilities- Develop and implement a regional business plan that aligns with LBG objectives.
- Lead the Area Directors and Relationship Directors/Managers to deliver comprehensive banking solutions to SME clients.
- Serve as the primary banker in the region, cultivating relationships with high‑value clients and local business communities.
- Monitor and evaluate regional performance across income, profitability, growth, sales performance, customer service and complaints; take corrective action when required.
- Plan, implement and embed changes to support and grow the business.
- Manage all revenue, product sales and risks within the region, ensuring compliance with policy, procedure and regulatory requirements.
- Build the capabilities of Area Directors and their teams, guiding them in managing the balance sheet and sector plans.
- Own the delivery of the Manufacturing proposition, driving market growth through collaboration with product teams and external representation of the LBG brand.
