As a manager (18-Month FTC) in the Reputation, Campaign & Insights team, you'll be responsible for providing insights for our communication strategies. You’ll identify what resonates with and matters to our audiences to support the creation of impactful campaigns that enhance our reputation. You’ll help modernise how we generate and use insight, combining traditional research with AI‐enabled approaches.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing our understanding of what drives the Group's Corporate reputation externally, identifying drivers of reputational growth and how we can bring that to life across our campaigns.
  • Exploring and embedding new analytical approaches, including AI‐enabled research, social listening, narrative testing and horizon scanning, to improve the speed, depth and foresight of our insights.
  • Supporting the refinement of our measurement processes across each audience to build a more accurate representation of our current standing.
  • Champion insight‐led strategy, using data, technology and expert judgement to challenge assumptions, surface trade‐offs and shape campaign direction.
  • Lead on production and delivery of insight projects and support the delivery of strategy planning by undertaking or commissioning white space analysis, horizon scanning, market and competitor scans, and other key research pieces.
  • Deliver ad hoc insights to inform decision making, ensuring the most valuable and appropriate data is used.

What we’re looking for:

  • (Technical) Strong data analysis and data visualisation skills. Comfortable collating existing research and business knowledge to identify how to use data most optimally.
  • Experience of data storytelling and can use analytics to help influence decision making.
  • A good understanding of various primary research techniques and the ability to turn this information into practical insights.
  • Experience of social listening and secondary research techniques.
  • Experience experimenting and using AI‐enabled insight techniques.
  • Knowledge of how political, regulatory, economic, and technological developments can impact our reputational strategy.
  • (Professional) A curious mindset and proven experience of responsibly leveraging AI to drive efficiency and enhance creativity.
  • Self-motivated to deliver individual projects but also someone who is enthusiastic about working collaboratively.
  • Project management skills, including familiarity with Agile approaches to project management.
  • Supplier and budget management experience.
  • Strong influencing skills – comfortable addressing and facilitating discussions with senior partners.
  • Confident mentoring skills and supporting team members with their development.

This is a place for you. We offer reasonable workplace adjustments for colleagues with disabilities, including flexibility in office attendance, location and working patterns. Our ambition is to be the leading UK business for diversity, equity and inclusion supporting our customers, colleagues and communities.

We also offer a wide-ranging benefits package, which includes:

  • A generous pension contribution of up to 15%
  • An annual performance-related bonus
  • Share schemes including free shares
  • Benefits you can adapt to your lifestyle, such as discounted shopping
  • 30 days holiday, with bank holidays on top
  • A range of wellbeing initiatives and generous parental leave policies

The location for the role will be Bristol or Edinburgh, and we’ll need you to be in one of our hubs at least two days per week. There will also be some travel required between our key GCA hubs.
