Protection Consultant – Cavendish Online

Salary Range £33,203 - £34,950

Salary: £33,204 (OTE £56,004)

Location: Bristol Harbourside

Hours: Full-time – 40 hours (Monday to Thursday 9.45am-7pm and Friday 9.45am-6pm)

Working Pattern: Hybrid – at least two days, or 40% of your working week, in our Bristol office. This will be agreed by your Line Manager.

Are you experienced in sales and confident building trusted relationships with customers? We’re looking for a motivated Protection Consultant to join our growing Cavendish Online team. You’ll speak with customers who are already looking for protection products. There is no cold calling. Your role will be to understand each customer’s needs and provide clear, ethical and compliant information to help them protect what matters most.   • Speaking with customers who are actively seeking protection products
  • Building strong, trusted relationships through professional and empathetic conversation

  • Maintaining exceptional attention to detail, ensuring all information and documentation is accurate and compliant

What you’ll need

  • Minimum 12 months' experience in a target‑driven sales environment
  • Demonstrable experience achieving and exceeding sales, conversion, or revenue targets
  • Experience selling directly to customers (B2C)
  • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
  • A customer‑first approach with high ethical standards
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work within a regulated environment

And any experience of these would be really useful:

  • Experience in financial services, including banking, insurance, protection, lending, or financial advice
  • Experience selling financial products
  • Knowledge of protection products and customer protection needs
  • Experience working in a regulated sales environment
  • Experience using CRM or customer management systems

Training & Support

We are committed to your success from day one, you will receive full comprehensive full‑time training for your first 3 weeks (Bristol office‑based). Ongoing coaching, feedback and development once competent.
