We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Protection Consultant to join our growing Cavendish Online team. You’ll thrive in a professional sales environment with high-quality inbound leads (no cold calling), value doing the right thing for customers, and build a long-term career with a market-leading business.

You’ll be responsible for guiding customers through a range of protection solutions — taking the time to understand their circumstances and providing clear, ethical and compliant information that genuinely protects what matters most to them.

Day to day, you’ll be:

  • Speaking with customers who are actively seeking protection products
  • Building strong, trusted relationships through professional and empathetic conversations
  • Identifying customer needs and providing appropriate protection solutions
  • Consistently achieving — and exceeding — individual performance targets and KPIs
  • Maintaining exceptional attention to detail, ensuring all information and documentation is accurate and compliant
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues and contributing to a positive, high-performance team culture

This is a pivotal role within a high-performing team, offering excellent earning potential, structured development and progression within a business that is proud of its reputation.

About Us: Cavendish Online is a highly respected, award-winning protection broker, trusted by thousands of customers each year. Our customers already trust our brand and are actively seeking insurance, allowing you to focus on quality conversations, needs-based sales and outstanding outcomes, rather than cold calling or hard selling.

What you’ll need:

  • Demonstrable experience working in a target-driven B2C sales environment, ideally within a financial services setting or selling financial products.
  • A minimum of 12 months’ experience consistently achieving and exceeding KPIs, including sales conversion rates across financial products (e.g., loans, credit, insurance, protection) and revenue generation.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build trust quickly and guide customers confidently through their protection options.
  • A genuine, customer-first mindset and high ethical standards.
  • Highly organised and proactive, able to manage multiple priorities and maintain momentum in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and compliance when working within a heavily regulated financial services environment.
  • Openness to feedback and a desire to continuously improve.
  • A team player who positively influences others and shares knowledge.
