Location: Northampton. Working across Lloyds and Halifax branches within a reasonable distance.

Hours: 28 hours per week, including Saturdays. Flexible working arrangements are supported; any changes to hours will be discussed and agreed with you in advance.

Salary: £20,960 per annum, increasing to £21,560 after 6 months.

Responsibilities

  • Provide face‑to‑face support to customers at branch level.
  • Handle everyday banking tasks while offering reassurance, guidance, and practical support.
  • Assist customers through important moments such as bereavement, fraud concerns, and vulnerability situations.
  • Promote and support digital banking services, encouraging independent use of online and mobile platforms.
  • Recognise opportunities to connect customers with appropriate products and services.
  • Gather and deliver customer feedback to improve experience.
  • Progress into other roles across the Group, such as telephone, online, web‑chat, video or social‑media support.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 12 months customer‑service experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with honesty, empathy and a genuine desire to help people manage their finances.
  • Ability to build relationships quickly and deliver a fantastic customer experience.
  • Commitment to deliver on promises and to go above and beyond for customers.
  • Teamwork: collaborate closely with colleagues to meet customers’ needs.
  • Previous financial‑services experience not required; training provided.
