Location: Cardiff (will be based in Newport until approximately September 2026, then permanently move to Cardiff)

Hours: Full‑time

Working pattern: Hybrid – at least two days per week in one of our office sites. Support for disabled colleagues is available and flexible working is encouraged.

What you’ll be doing

We are an innovative, fast‑moving business shaping finance as a force for good. As Senior Product Owner – Retention & Ecosystems, you will play a hands‑on leadership role at the heart of how we evolve our customer relationships across the bank, OEMs, dealers, brokers and emerging mobility partners.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Define and deliver a product roadmap that enables Lloyds and partner‑led retention journeys (OEM, dealer and broker‑led) and builds ecosystem capabilities.
  • Use data, insights and predictive models to identify and act on retention opportunities.
  • Lead the backlog, defining clear outcomes and collaborating closely with engineering, data, commercial and partner teams to deliver measurable customer and business value.
  • Develop and execute the ecosystem strategy, building partnerships and ensuring integrated, connected customer experiences.
  • Drive end‑to‑end lifecycle innovation and influence how we retain and grow customer relationships.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner in an agile environment, owning backlogs, roadmaps and outcomes.
  • Strong ability to translate strategy into delivery, balancing commercial, customer and technical needs.
  • Experience with data‑driven products – analytics, triggers or predictive models.
  • Strong collaboration and influencing skills across commercial, engineering, data, and partner teams.
  • Understanding of platforms, integrations or ecosystem‑based products.
  • Ability to measure and optimise performance (e.g., retention, conversion, product penetration).

Additional desirable experience: motor finance, automotive or mobility ecosystems; partner‑led journeys (OEM, dealer, broker or marketplace); API/integration‑led platforms; regulatory and compliance considerations in financial services.
