Design, develop, test, and deploy high‐quality software solutions that meet business needs.

Work closely with colleagues across disciplines to capture requirements, analyse technical feasibility, and translate them into engineering solutions.

Lead the development and implementation of complex frontend and backend applications.

Maintain high standards of code quality, architecture, and documentation.

Participate in code reviews and provide constructive, actionable feedback to peers.

Take ownership of debugging, root‐cause analysis, and resolution of production incidents.

Mentor and coach junior engineers, fostering a culture of engineering excellence, learning, and continuous improvement.

Extensive experience as a Senior Software Engineer or in a similar role.

Deep understanding of modern software engineering principles with experience building highly observable, scalable, and distributed systems.

Advanced proficiency in React, including:

  • State management using Context API and Redux
  • Microfrontend architectures
  • Component design patterns and performance optimisation
  • Testing with Jest and React Testing Library

Strong backend development experience with Node.js/Express, including:

  • Microservices architecture
  • Event‐driven systems
  • Pub/Sub or Kafka
  • API design and integration patterns

Solid system design knowledge, including:

  • Caching strategies (e.g., Redis)
  • Scalability, reliability, and performance considerations

Hands‐on experience with cloud‐native architecture and containerisation (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).

Strong understanding of Agile principles and practices (Scrum, Jira).

Thorough knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices.

Excellent problem‐solving and analytical thinking skills.

Strong collaboration, communication, and relationship‐building abilities.

Aware of emerging trends and technologies such as Generative AI, Large Language Models, and Agentic Architecture / AI Agents.
