About this opportunity!
As a Savings Pricing Manager you’ll be at the centre of decision making across our portfolio of brands, serving approximately 20 million customers. Operating in a varied and fast-paced environment, your knowledge of the savings market, competition, customer and commercial considerations will support a range of activities from planning and forecasting to setting the rates across our portfolio.
What you’ll be doing:
- You’ll be pricing some of the largest savings brands in the UK, using data to understand our performance and develop recommendations delivering fair value for customers and our commercial objectives.
- You’ll play a key part in delivering the income and balance sheet plan, alongside delivering the analysis to support the creation of forecasts and scenario planning.
- You’ll help to craft our savings strategy, providing high-quality analysis on the savings market and our competitors, then communicating findings clearly and simply to senior management.
- You’ll work to enhance our pricing capabilities and commercial insights with continuous improvement of our metrics and models.
- You’ll work across teams to assess product changes, new ideas, and their impacts on customer and commercial outcomes.
What you’ll need:
- A self-starter, you’ll have previous experience of working in a commercially focused role and a strong background in using data to create proposals.
- You’ll have a track record of thinking through sophisticated problems strategically, considering a broad number of business drivers and solutions, and being able to articulate them in a simple manner.
- You’ll be confident applying critical thinking to interpret information in an objective manner (even when it is limited) to generate and contribute ideas to support in the formulation of judgements and solutions.
- Working with multiple stakeholders, you’ll be able to successfully handle conflicting workload priorities, working accurately and delivering to deadlines.
