About the Role
As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll join a collaborative, agile, product‑focused engineering team working at the heart of our Cloud Platform. You’ll contribute to designing, building and improving our cloud security and network products, as well as supporting the day‑to‑day operation of existing services.
You will:
- Write and review secure Infrastructure‑as‑Code (IaC)
- Provide operational support for existing products, including incident management and customer requests
- Develop and test new product features
- Manage workload through Jira
- Automate processes and leverage AI to drive efficiency and cost‑effectiveness
- Identify opportunities for service and platform improvement
- Support roadmap planning and contribute to product direction
- Invest in your own development and continuous learning
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to an inclusive, learning‑oriented culture
- Step in for the Lead Engineer when required
What You’ll Need
As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll bring:
- Deep expertise in at least one relevant product or technology area (e.g., Firewalls), and the ability to rapidly build capability in others
- Strong understanding of secure-by-design principles and alignment to industry best practice
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to listen, challenge and collaborate effectively
- The ability to work closely with product owners and teams to shape effective solutions
- Awareness of technical constraints, bottlenecks and environmental factors — with the drive to resolve them quickly
- Experience working within agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Hands-on experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines and automation
- A passion for automating everything
- Curiosity about emerging technology and a desire to continuously improve solutions and team capability
