Job Description Summary

We currently have a great opportunity for a wealth management specialist and recognised leader in the sector to join our Institutional Coverage team based in London.

As a Managing Director, you’ll play a leading role in developing and driving forward the Wealth Management strategy, providing leadership and strategic direction to the wider team.

Your accountabilities will include:

  • Lead an initiative to grow the institutionalised family office client base, driving multi-product revenue opportunities across the Group.
  • Leverage C-suite engagement to upgrade strategic dialogue with the largest wealth managers and wealth platforms in the UK to drive revenues and product penetration.
  • Developing and reviewing business objectives and strategy for the sector to facilitate growth aligned to the Institutional Coverage and wider Corporate and Institutional Banking strategies.
  • Develop, co-ordinate and implement strategies delivering efficient product mix and channel distribution for their clients improving both income and market penetration within risk appetite and capital and funding objectives.
  • Implementing and maintaining the risk-management framework (encompassing principles, policies, methodologies, systems, internal controls, processes, procedures and people) within their sector, in line with the approved appetite for risk.
  • Lead a strong and experienced team of wealth management bankers.
