Salary: £78,372 to £87,080

Hours: Full‑time, hybrid – at least two days per week (or 40%) in an office.

Role Summary: As a Mid Corporate Manufacturing, Consumer & Wholesale Relationship Manager at Lloyds Banking Group, you will manage client relationships with turnovers of £25m‑£500m, providing term loans, RCFs, and other banking solutions. You will bring new‑to‑bank relationships, work with corporate finance houses, and focus on new business origination.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and lead a portfolio of clients, delivering comprehensive banking services including lending, deposits, and other products.
  • Originate and develop new high‑profile client relationships, positioning clients as strategic partners.
  • Analyse opportunities and prospect for new, high‑value MCW Mid Corporate clients whose needs can be met with a range of products and solutions.
  • Help define and refine the campaign proposition to win market share in the Mid Corporate sector.
  • Support the Regional Director with leadership and mentorship, and pursue opportunities for personal development.
  • Represent Lloyds’ brand in the market to attract new and existing professionals and businesses.
  • Build relationships with partner companies and apply these connections to improve client interactions and product tailoring.
  • Ensure credit, compliance and operational risk are managed across the client portfolio.
  • Support clients in developing ESG strategies and progress toward NetZero.

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience in Corporate or Commercial Banking, preferably with a sector specialism in MCW.
  • Proactive developer of relationships, building partnerships and a strong network within the professional space.
  • Demonstrated business origination experience with a record of delivering value to clients and LBG.
  • Credit expertise and the ability to evaluate propositions and provide sound commercial recommendations to the Credit team.
  • Strong understanding of legal documentation, effective negotiation of terms, and risk minimisation in lending.
  • Fluency in using local networks and connections to generate business opportunities.
