What we’re looking for:
We’re looking for an economist with experience in monitoring the macroeconomic environment and using impactful analysis to understand what’s happening beneath the surface. You’ll help maintain and build on the team’s existing suite of models, tools and publications alongside conducting your own economic analysis and assisting more experienced economists.
You’ll have:
- A strong interest in economic events and their impact on Lloyds Banking Group.
- Experience in producing economic analysis, tailoring findings to different audiences.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
- A desire to learn and develop as an economist.
- At least an undergraduate degree in economics or a related field, alongside 1-3 years of experience working as a professional economist, or a similar role.
- Experience in using a global macroeconomic model and/or monitoring a major global economy would be beneficial.
