What you’ll be doing:
We are looking for an Associate with a strong foundation in Commercial Banking to join our Complex Implementation Team, supporting the onboarding and implementation of some of the Bank’s largest and most complex Transaction Banking clients. We are particularly interested in candidates who have developed strong banking knowledge and client-facing skills through experience in areas such as Retail and Commercial Banking, Sales Support or high-value relationship management, and who are looking to take the next step into a more complex client and delivery environment. The role will involve working with multiple internal and external stakeholders to understand client requirements, coordinate activity and support the successful delivery of complex banking solutions. The successful candidate will bring strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills, a customer-focused mindset and the ability to build effective relationships, manage competing priorities and confidently navigate complex situations.
Why join us:
From building a truly sustainable business to creating a place where people love to work, we need colleagues who are up for the challenge and can match our pace. People who love to push boundaries, make change happen and challenge the status quo.
What we’re looking for:
- Strong banking experience, ideally gained within a Commercial or Business Banking environment, Sales Support or a high-value Retail client service.
- Proven experience of working with both internal and external stakeholders, building effective relationships and communicating confidently across different teams and levels of seniority.
- Strong organisation and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage your own workload, balance competing priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes to tight deadlines.
- Demonstrable ability to build and maintain an effective stakeholder network and navigate a large, complex organisation to resolve issues and progress client or business outcomes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex requirements, identify issues and dependencies, and work collaboratively to find practical solutions.
- A proactive, client-focused and accountable approach, with the confidence to take ownership, work across multiple activities and maintain momentum through to delivery.
And any experience of these would be great:
- Experience within Transaction Banking, particularly involving payments, cash management, client onboarding, implementation or complex banking solutions.
- Strong digital capability, including experience using Microsoft 365 and an interest in applying AI, automation and personal productivity tools, such as Microsoft Copilot to improve efficiency and ways of working.
We know that great talent comes from many backgrounds. Whilst this job advert may reference specific years of experience, we recognise that skills are developed in many ways, so if you have relevant, transferable experience, we encourage you to apply.
This is a place for you:
