About this opportunity
We’re seeking an Associate Relationship Manager (ARM) to support a growth portfolio within our Mid Corporate segment (turnover £50m–£500m) in London. Working alongside a Relationship Director (RD), you’ll help deliver excellent service and tailored solutions to meet our clients’ goals. You will support an RD who focuses on expanding relationships with existing clients and winning new-to-bank relationships, working with key business introducers and advisors.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent service to clients, putting them at the heart of everything you do and becoming a trusted adviser.
- Support the Relationship Manager and sometimes serve as the go‑to banker in your geographic area of responsibility.
- Maintain a high profile with external influencers and the local business community to reinforce our reputation.
- Provide a range of funding solutions—from working capital to term lending—tailored to clients’ needs.
- Build relationships with Group Partner companies and Specialist Client Solution colleagues to deliver the whole bank’s products.
- Support clients with treasury management, exploring cash‑deposit strategies that align with their business goals.
- Manage risk and compliance for your client portfolio.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, account management or customer‑facing roles within the financial services sector.
- Knowledge of banking products, competitors and relevant regulations.
- Highly organised, motivated, and self‑accountable, with the ability to make decisions and consistently achieve results.
- Target‑driven and able to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to track client interactions and pipelines is highly desirable.
