Hours: Full-time

Working Pattern: Minimum two days per week or 40% of working hours in office/hub.

The Role: The Liquidity Pricing & Strategy team is responsible for delivery of key Customer Deposits financial metrics by creating a pricing framework that enables growth but maintains discipline. Pricing strategy and governance is critical to ensuring strong client outcomes while maximising value from CIB customer deposits. The team plays a vital role in supporting growth in the CIB client franchise by collaborating closely with teams across the Group including Sales, Coverage, Finance, Group Corporate Treasury, Balance Sheet Management and BCB. This role specifically will focus on supporting management of day-to-day pricing requests, pricing governance, delivering client and competitor pricing insights and improving processes that underpin the pricing framework. There will also be a strong focus on specialist liquidity products with a view to supporting growth in this key strategic segment. The role offers an excellent opportunity to develop a deep understanding of client liquidity needs, embed new tools and insights to drive growth, and play an important role in driving income initiatives for the Business.

What you'll be doing:

  • Manage and monitor day-to-day pricing requests to gain key pricing insights
  • Build and embed new tools & technology to enhance the pricing process
  • Share insight on Pricing trends, competitor and macro-economic impacts
  • Support management of pricing governance and framework
  • Provide analysis and insight on client relationship value and income opportunities

What You'll need:

  • Understanding of Liquidity and its role in delivering Net Interest Income and funding
  • Financial and Analytical skills to provide pricing insights and identify growth opportunities
  • Ability to implement new technology and tools to simplify the pricing framework
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Be organised and have effective time management skills; being able to support the team on multiple priorities at any one time
  • Proactive, self-sufficient, and highly motivated
