About this opportunity

Business and Commercial Banking (BCB) Markets is seeking an Associate FX Sales to join a diverse team covering RBB, Private Banking, SME and Mid Corporate clients. In this role you will deliver FX trading, execution and facilitation for SME and Mid Corporate clients, grow business in new areas, engage New‑To‑Bank and New‑To‑Product clients, and manage their foreign‑currency and commodity risk.

What you’ll be doing

  • Convert New‑To‑Bank and New‑To‑Product opportunities into established FX trading clients.
  • Digitise the client’s FX journey via our ‘Connected’ platform.
  • Collaborate with coverage teams and product specialists to drive cross‑business opportunities.
  • Build and deliver a business plan to meet financial growth ambitions.
  • Price and structure FX risk management solutions and execute with clients.
  • Engage with clients on our Sales Process, manage documentation, and explain product benefits.
  • Build a network with coverage colleagues to support achievement of the business plan.

What you’ll need

  • A passion for financial markets and the ability to demystify them for clients, responding to economic and political events in real time.
  • Strong communication, organization, and presentation skills.
  • Capacity to identify innovative solutions and present them to multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, teamwork, problem‑solving, and prioritization.
  • Enthusiasm, perseverance, a curious mindset, and the ability to tailor an approach to each client.
  • Willingness to sit the required exams to execute trades and converse with clients independently.
