This role sits within the Consumer Lending Capital Optimisation team, supporting the delivery of improved capital efficiency and customer outcomes across a large and diverse portfolio. You will be part of a collaborative, multi-skilled team working across a variety of initiatives including product design, customer strategy, portfolio optimisation and risk transfer. We operate in an agile way, meaning you will have the opportunity to build experience across different areas and develop a broad skill set over time. As a Manager in the team you will work across a broad range of initiatives, including product design, customer strategy, portfolio optimisation and risk transfer. You will help analyse capital impacts, turn data into clear insights, and support decisions that shape how we optimise performance across Consumer Lending. You will also work closely with colleagues across Product, Risk, Finance and Treasury, building a strong understanding of how different areas come together to deliver better business and customer outcomes.

What we’re looking for:

  • 3+ years experience in financial services, an analytical role, a commercial role, or a related environment where you have worked with data, insight or business performance.
  • 2+ years experience analysing information, drawing out key insights and using these to support decision-making.
  • Experience working with financial, portfolio or capital concepts, with an interest in understanding how these support business and customer outcomes.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including the ability to work collaboratively across teams and explain ideas clearly.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities, balancing independent work with team-based delivery.
  • Good organisation, attention to detail and a curious mindset, with a willingness to learn new areas.

And any experience of this would be useful:

  • Experience working with Product, Risk, Finance, Treasury or portfolio optimisation teams.
  • Exposure to capital optimisation, risk transfer, lending portfolios or customer strategy.
  • Experience contributing to agile delivery or cross-functional change initiatives.
