About this opportunity:
An exciting opportunity to join the Retail Divisional Reporting team and lead executive insight for the UK's largest Retail Banking business. This role sits at the heart of Retail Finance, leading consolidated reporting and supporting the Retail Valuation in Resolution (ViR) process. You'll work closely with senior finance leaders to provide meaningful insight on financial performance, helping shape strategic decisions and future outcomes. It's a unique opportunity to gain exposure across a broad range of Retail products while making a visible impact within a high‑profile team!
What you’ll be doing:
- Shape and deliver high quality executive consolidated reporting covering the Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet, demonstrating advanced storytelling capability and ensuring accuracy and completeness throughout each reporting cycle.
- Co‑ordinate and lead the Retail Valuation in Resolution (ViR) process, working with a broad range of stakeholders across Group Finance, Treasury, Finance Business Partners and senior Retail Finance leadership.
- Lead and deliver ad hoc reporting and analysis for Divisional Finance Directors and Finance Directors, ensuring appropriate governance and control throughout.
- Demonstrate strong commercial awareness, sound judgement and a questioning mindset while managing multiple stakeholders through reporting cycles.
- Apply a pragmatic approach to problem‑solving and deliver effective solutions to support key reporting and resolution activities.
- Continuously improve reporting processes to increase efficiency, enhance outputs and strengthen collaboration across multiple functions.
- Act as a role model for the Group's culture and leadership behaviours through visible leadership and collaboration.

What we’re looking for:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with 3+ years' as a Finance professional ideally working within a Financial Services setting.
- 3+ years' experience preparing and presenting financial insights, management information or executive‑level reporting within a complex organisation.
- Demonstrating strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex financial information for all levels of the organisation.
- Strong leadership, taking ownership and leading cross‑functional reporting, building positive relationships, with capability to influence others and drive forward actions.
- Aptitude to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and under pressure, whilst delivering accurate output, showing ability to prioritise multiple deadlines and maintain high levels of accuracy.
- Curiosity to learn and grow, enjoying being challenged by new opportunities that arise.
