The purpose of the Integrator is to coordinate dependencies between the Lab and stakeholders external to the Lab such as other labs, platforms, Group Executive Functions and 3rd parties, this may include coordinating complex and high-risk implementations. The Job Description Integrator sits at Lab- or Platform-level and covers both business and technology change.
Role responsibilities:
- Develops the sequence for integration related tasks in collaboration with the PO and aligned to the Lab backlog
- Catalogues and manages dependencies between the lab and other teams
- Works with stakeholders outside of the lab to ensure interlock to enable the lab to deliver at pace
- Identifies blockers to delivery and where possible mitigates / resolves, escalating to product owner(s) / lab leadership where required
- Acts as interface between the supplier (3rd Party) and key business stakeholders
- Manages complex and high-risk implementations requiring integration between multiple parties (internal/external) to ensure safe delivery
- Coordinates the integration process and / or implementation events across shared infrastructure (e.g. Upgrading the Mainframe); leads on the SI process, coordinating parties to get the change over the line
- Provides expertise (not content) for governance activity owned by the Product Owner, e.g. PRIA, for change across multiple labs
Provides primary supervision to a team performing transactional work or supervises a small group performing junior professional tasks. Identifies and evaluates complex expertise-led solutions against a range of criteria to find the ones that best meet business needs. Manages important client relationships with guidance from senior colleagues or oversees relationship management with a group of more transactional clients and customers. Delivers required outcomes by working within an established project management plan. Coordinates across multiple teams to develop medium-term and/or long-term work schedules that help the organisation achieve its priorities and fulfil its business plans. Investigates questions related to existing programmes, processes and procedures. Performs designated supplier management activities to deliver own prescribed outcomes and/or provide support to others by using existing systems and protocols. Investigates standard incidents with current regulatory and compliance processes, systems and procedures, taking action to solve immediate compliance issues and providing advice to more senior colleagues on more complex problems. Responds to individual and team objectives and invests in improving personal performance by growing own skills and capabilities, coaching others when required. Develops personal capabilities using existing formal and informal training opportunities, while also coaching others as required. Delivers required outcomes and serves as the primary point of contact while working under guidance within an established contract management plan and coordinating activities performed by subcontractors and suppliers. Delivers prescribed outcomes for a designated area, using risk management systems to ensure the organisation is not exposed to undue risks. Delivers prescribed outcomes and/or provides support services while operating within the organisation's established regulatory and governance systems and protocols. Supports others by using strategic planning systems and protocols.
