The predicted salary is between 27100 - 28000 £ per year.

Location: Belfast - Working across our Halifax branches within a reasonable distance.

Hours: 17.5 hours per week (including Saturdays). Pattern: Part-time.

Annual Salary Range: £26,200. (Part-time salary: £13,100, increasing to £13,475 after 6 months.)

Responsibilities

  • You will start your journey in one of our branches, providing face-to-face support to customers.
  • Handle everyday banking tasks while focusing on supporting customers through important moments such as bereavement, fraud concerns, vulnerable support, and digital banking confidence.
  • Adapt to different customer needs, promote and support our digital services, and help customers use online and mobile banking independently.
  • Recognize opportunities to connect customers with the right products and services.
  • Provide reassurance, guidance, and practical support, staying calm under pressure, adaptable, and empathetic.
  • Progress into other roles across the Group, including phone, online, web chat, video, or social media channels.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 12 months customer service experience.
  • A people person who is honest, genuine, and caring about helping people with their finances (no previous financial services experience required).
  • Ability to quickly build relationships to give customers a fantastic experience.
  • Passion to show empathy, act with care and integrity, taking time to resolve queries and give customers confidence in the service.
  • Commitment to deliver on promises and go above and beyond for customers.
  • A genuine team player who collaborates closely with colleagues to meet customer needs.
