Job

Title: Customer Support.

Salary: £26,200, increasing to £26,950 after 6 months. This is a full-time, branch-based opportunity.

Responsibilities

  • You will start your journey in one of our branches, providing face‑to‑face support to customers.
  • Handle some everyday banking tasks while focusing on helping people through important moments by offering reassurance, guidance and practical support.
  • Support customers through scenarios such as bereavement, fraud concerns, vulnerable customers, or building confidence with digital banking.
  • Promote and support digital services and help customers use online and mobile banking independently.
  • Recognise opportunities to connect customers with the right products and services.
  • Work with a calm, adaptable and empathetic approach; training will be provided as needed.
  • As you grow, you may progress into other roles across the Group, including support by phone, online, or through channels like web chat, video or social media.
  • What we’re looking for (Qualifications)
  • A minimum of 12 months customer service experience.
  • A people person who is honest, genuine and cares about helping people with their finances.
  • Ability to quickly build relationships to give customers a fantastic experience.
  • Empathy, care, integrity, and the commitment to resolve queries and give customers confidence in the service.
  • Willingness to go above and beyond for customers and to deliver on promises.
  • A genuine team player who collaborates closely with colleagues to meet customer needs.
