Job Description
Senior Data Product Owner – lead the design and delivery of high‑impact data products across the Loans & Affordability Platform. Shape how data is used to support lending decisions, regulatory outcomes and improve customer interactions. Deliver major transformation initiatives, modernise the Loans platform, transition away from legacy data infrastructure, and build a scalable, product‑led approach to data.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead design and delivery of data products across the Loans & Affordability Platform.
- Shape data usage for lending decisions, regulatory outcomes, and customer interactions.
- Drive major transformation initiatives, modernising the Loans platform and transitioning from legacy data infrastructure.
- Build a scalable, product‑led approach to data.
- Collaborate with engineering, architecture and business teams to ensure data products are reliable, valuable, and future‑proof, turning complex data needs into clear, high‑value products.
- Define and evolve the product vision and roadmap, balancing strategic goals with day‑to‑day delivery and focusing on greatest impact.
- Lead cross‑functional teams, create clarity and momentum, and enable agile, iterative, and rapid delivery.
- Champion strong data governance, improve data quality and consistency, and guarantee solutions are scalable, efficient and aligned with long‑term transformation ambitions.

Qualifications
- 5 years’ experience as a Data Product Owner or Product Manager in a similar industry (e.g., banking, finance).
- Strong knowledge of data‑driven product development and agile methodologies.
- Expertise in GCP Big Data technologies (e.g., BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Dataproc).
- Experience developing and managing product roadmaps.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Relevant transferable experience is welcomed; we value diverse backgrounds and skill sets.
