Accountable for delivery of Quality Engineering across the lab as part of a multi-skilled feature team, collaborating to ensure quality & customer requirements are met when developing products. Will be an active member of the LBG QE Community, sharing knowledge to benefit the Group.
Every day will bring something new. In these roles, you’ll get to:
- Drive advanced software testing techniques using experience to apply test approaches such as risk-based testing
- Develop robust automation suites in Java/Typescript/Python using the defined LBG automation framework, solve complex framework issues, and extend existing frameworks when required
- Incorporate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline
- Apply the Automation Test Strategy to the applications under test
- Perform exploratory testing
- Design & execute different types of complex Non-Functional testing
- Create, execute and report test cases via an API, using the defined LBG test management system
- Mentor colleagues
- Create or accurately request complex test data, taking into account referential integrity and metadata

- Testing & Quality Assurance: Building and maintaining automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Pytest, JUnit, Appium, RestAssured), Exploratory, functional and non-functional, and accessibility testing (performance, security, etc.), Creating, executing, and reporting test cases using tools like Xray, Integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, Managing test data and environments
- Programming & Tools: Strong programming proficiency in Python, Typescript & Java and/or REST API development and microservice Architectures and React, NodeJS or PLSQL, Experience with Agile tools (Jira, Confluence), Source code management (Git, GitHub)
- Collaboration & Continuous Improvement: Mentoring and knowledge sharing within multi-skilled teams, Driving process improvements and adopting a continuous learning mindset
And any experience of these would be really useful:
- Cloud experience (preferably GCP) including tools such as Composer, Dataflow, BigQuery, Harness, Docker.
