This role is pivotal in crafting our future, driving innovation, and implementing flawless organisational changes. You will be part of a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment where collaboration and excellence are paramount. From organisation redesign to TUPEs and acquisitions, you’ll be at the forefront of driving positive impact.
What you will be doing:
- Manage relationships with internal stakeholders & HR People teams to ensure their needs are met while supporting senior colleagues in leading more meaningful customer relationships.
- Analyse key themes using data from a wide range of sources and identify possible impacts on the business. Utilise AI to increase efficiencies and support delivery of outcomes.
- Grow own capabilities by pursuing and investing in personal development opportunities, support development and capabilities of peers, and provide specialised training or mentoring in area of expertise to others throughout the organisation.
- Re-imagine work and existing processes based on user feedback and backed by data analysis. Recommend and implement improvements to existing business practices, while developing and delivering Organisational Change projects or a workstream within the organisation's change management programme with guidance from senior colleagues.
- Develop procedures and interpret and apply policy for area of expertise to achieve specified outputs, or advise the wider business on application of policy, then monitor implementation of those procedures within the organisation. Utilise Agile change methods to execute work.
- Deliver own small-scale or medium-scale projects by working within an established programme management plan.
- Adopt a growth mind-set, recommend ways to improve support for operations by changing policies, processes, standards and practices.
- Deliver prescribed outcomes for a designated area, using risk management systems to ensure the organisation is not exposed to undue risks.
- Identify and evaluate complex expertise-led solutions against a range of criteria to find the ones that best meet business needs.
- Develop and/or deliver a plan for a specific area of responsibility.
What you will need:
- Strong specialist HR expertise, including hands-on experience delivering TUPEs and acquisitions, and solid knowledge of employment law and union engagement.
- Align organisational design approaches to business transformation priorities, ensuring changes are implemented effectively and seamlessly.
- Operate confidently in ambiguous, fast-moving environments, adapting quickly and navigating uncertainty with ease.
- Build and manage relationships with senior and executive-level stakeholders, influencing effectively and delivering at pace in demanding settings.
- Develop and manage complex portfolios of work, creating structured plans to drive delivery of outcomes and key milestones.
- Anticipate business needs proactively, making sound prioritisation decisions and maintaining resilience when balancing multiple demands.
- Champion innovation and nurture a growth mindset within the team, seeking out opportunities to improve ways of working.
- Demonstrate strong learning agility, rapidly absorbing new information, shifting across a wide range of topics with confidence.
- Apply creative problem-solving to shape effective, user-centred solutions that address complex business challenges.
- Anticipate risks, issues, and opportunities early, taking proactive action to mitigate impacts or accelerate progress.
- Use data confidently, tracking relevant metrics and insights to inform decisions and support delivery.
