About this Opportunity: This role leads strategy delivery for specific Agentic AI domains or value chains under the direction of the Agentic AI Strategy Lead. The incumbent takes ownership of defined domains (e.g., servicing, fraud, operations, risk, finance) and turns domain ambition into clear analysis, value cases, priorities, and executable plans. The role involves hands‑on work within assigned domains to shape use cases, assess value and feasibility, and support roadmap development, acting as the day‑to‑day strategy counterpart to business and technology teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead strategy for key Agentic AI domains, acting as the day‑to‑day owner within your area.
- Work closely with business and technology teams to identify and shape high‑impact AI opportunities.
- Develop clear strategy artefacts (use cases, value cases, roadmaps) to support prioritisation and decision‑making.
- Translate strategy into actionable plans—driving delivery, tracking progress, and maintaining momentum.
- Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and trade‑offs across the full lifecycle.
- Build strong relationships with partners, ensuring alignment and keeping initiatives on track.
- Champion measurable outcomes, supporting value definition and tracking.
- Share insights and procedures across domains, contributing to a high‑performing AI CoE.
What You'll Need:
- Strong strategic problem‑solving capability and structured thinking, combined with a working understanding of AI and Agentic AI.
- Demonstrated effectiveness in operating within specific business domains or value chains, translating ambition into clear analysis, value cases, and practical plans.
- Effective engagement with senior partners and technical teams, providing insight and challenge without being the ultimate decision‑maker.
- Working understanding of AI and Agentic AI concepts, including real business applications and constraints.
- Experience supporting domain‑level strategy development, translating business priorities into use‑case assessments, value cases, and structured plans or roadmaps.
- Strong ability to structure ambiguous problems, analyse options and trade‑offs, and produce clear, decision‑ready strategy artefacts.
- Hands‑on experience with business and technology collaborators within defined domains or initiatives.
- Strong analytical and commercial judgement, with the ability to assess value potential, feasibility, and delivery risk.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce clear, executive‑quality materials.
Desirable Experience:
- Working in financial services or another complex, regulated environment, supporting strategy or transformation initiatives.
- Exposure to AI, data, or digital use cases within a business domain, from early shaping through delivery or adoption.
- Experience supporting portfolio prioritisation, value tracking, or benefits reporting.
- Familiarity with modern data and AI platforms to understand dependencies and delivery considerations.
- Experience working as part of cross‑functional delivery teams, coordinating business, technology, and control functions.
Benefits:
- Generous pension contribution of up to 15%
- Annual bonus award, subject to Group performance
- Share schemes including free shares
- Benefits you can adapt to your lifestyle, such as discounted shopping
- 30 days’ holiday, with bank holidays on top
