  • Hours: Full-time/Part-time
  • Working Pattern: Hybrid – at least two days per week, or 40% of time, at the office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide dedicated support to one or more Business Development Manager areas; pro‑actively manage a designated portfolio of broker relationships, building and strengthening strong external relationships across a defined geographical patch through telephone, Teams and email.
  • Work closely with the geographically aligned Business Development Manager to find opportunities in the existing portfolio and wider market.
  • Develop business leads and introductions through proactive and robust interactions to maximise business opportunities for increased income and growth.
  • Utilise management information to develop purposeful business relationships and grow market share.
  • Collaborate with the wider Telephone Business Development team and across other brands to share standard processes, successes and maintain a culture of ongoing development.
  • Track risks within the intermediary mortgage market to educate intermediaries on identifying and overcoming existing and emerging risks.
  • Maintain excellent organisational skills and effective personal time management.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • 2+ years of mortgage experience (C‑MAP qualification desirable but not compulsory).
  • 2+ years of relationship management experience.
  • Excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Results‑driven and resilient.
  • Collaboration, business insight and data analysis capabilities.
