Hours: Full time (35 hours per week)
Working Pattern: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites.
About this opportunity
At BCB Term Lending, we're helping UK businesses grow, invest and create jobs through sustainable, responsible finance. As an Associate Director within our Pricing team, you'll support the pricing of commercial term lending facilities of up to £500m, helping to deliver the right outcomes for clients whilst achieving sustainable returns for the Group. You'll combine market insight, pricing expertise and commercial analysis to shape pricing strategy, influence senior leaders and support key lending decisions across the business.
What you'll be doing
- Support the pricing of commercial term lending facilities ranging from £25k to £500m, balancing customer outcomes, risk considerations and sustainable financial returns.
- Analyse market trends, competitor activity and business performance to identify opportunities for growth and competitive advantage.
- Develop pricing strategies and recommendations that support business objectives and influence lending decisions.
- Produce weekly and monthly reporting, management information and performance analysis to provide meaningful commercial insight.
- Develop and enhance Power BI dashboards and reporting tools that support data-driven decision making.
- Partner with Relationship Managers and senior leaders across Product, Risk, Finance and Coverage teams to support strategic transactions and key business initiatives.
- Translate complex financial and performance data into clear recommendations, business cases and strategic proposals for senior leaders.
- Ensure robust governance, controls and continuous improvement are embedded throughout the pricing framework and lending journey.

What you'll need
Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with advanced Excel capabilities and experience using Power BI to generate insight and support decision making.
Strong commercial judgement, with the ability to balance customer outcomes, growth opportunities and sustainable financial returns.
Excellent partner management and influencing skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear recommendations for senior audiences.
It would be useful if you had…
- Experience within Business & Commercial Banking, Corporate Banking or commercial lending.
- Proven pricing experience within banking, lending, financial services or a comparable commercial environment.
- A professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) and strong financial competence.
- Knowledge of lending products, pricing governance and risk management frameworks.
- Experience using Group Data Warehouse (GDW) or similar enterprise data platforms.
