Reporting into the Senior Manager Residual Value (RV) Development, you'll own and manage the researching of existing and emerging trends and relationships impacting upon used vehicle market values, incorporating them into the RV forecasting modelling processes. We thrive on supporting our customers and relationship management is key to ensure cross business balancing. Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of your time, at our Manchester Westminster House office.

What you'll be doing:

  • Working across Residual Value Development, Pricing, Data Science and Risk.
  • Delivering a new machine learning-led forecasting model that supports better commercial decisions and risk management.
  • Translating business requirements into analytical solutions, supporting model testing and governance activity.
  • Providing insight on model performance against historic approaches, market benchmarks and real-world vehicle outcomes.
  • Building deep expertise in automotive markets, used vehicle pricing and the factors that influence residual values.

  • Experience producing clear written summaries, reporting materials or visualisations that make analysis accessible for project teams, governance forums or senior stakeholders.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across technical and business teams, including data, pricing, risk or governance colleagues.
  • A problem-solving approach, with the confidence to investigate anomalies, work through ambiguity and explain findings clearly.
