Salary: Up to £40,000.00 OTE (depending on experience)

Lloyd & Whyte, part of Benefact Group, is seeking an Insurance Consultant to join our AGI team in Taunton.

The AGI team seeks a candidate to provide exceptional service and advice to clients to maximize client satisfaction, achieve new business and related income targets, and maintain the highest retention levels, supporting our overall business strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve individual objectives and KPIs
• Provide holistic insurance reviews for commercial clients, identifying and promoting related insurance products for new and existing clients
• Meet new business income and retention targets, service KPIs, and workflow standards
• Maintain a comprehensive diary and activity log to manage income generation
• Manage key client relationships as required
• Arrange client meetings via phone or video
• Attend exhibitions professionally when needed
• Share market insights and trends with your manager
• Collaborate with the Client Liaison Team to maximize opportunities
• Support team members with process adherence and technical knowledge
• Promote a customer-first culture aligned with \’Treating Customers Fairly\’
• Support colleagues\’ professional development
• Assist in monitoring daily workflow and productivity
• Uphold our values and culture within the team
• Participate in competency assessments and process reviews
• Continuously update technical knowledge of products, market trends, and underwriting guidelines
• Underwrite scheme policies per guidelines
• Focus on client money collection within company policies
• Research potential new insurance products and introducers

Knowledge, skills, and experience

• Experience in a similar insurance role
• Chartered Insurance Institute Certificate in Insurance
• Preferably working towards Chartered Insurance Institute Diploma
• Strong rapport-building skills via various communication channels
• Target-driven mindset
• Ability to discuss clients\’ needs holistically
• Motivational coaching and training skills
• Creative in enhancing team focus on service and efficiency
• Ability to work within a regulated, compliant environment
• Organized, resourceful, and deadline-oriented
• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to challenges
