Marketing Communications Assistant

  • 3-6 months Temporary Role
  • Location: Wallington, Surrey
  • Hybrid: 3 days in the office (core days Monday & Wednesday)
  • Salary: £26,000 – £30,000 per annum DOE

We’re looking for a Marketing Communications Officer to join a busy, creative team for a 3‑6‑month temporary role. You’ll play a key part in delivering marketing and communications activity across digital and offline channels, supporting internal and external campaigns that drive engagement and brand awareness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Coordinate with agencies and suppliers to ensure projects run smoothly and to budget.
  • Collaborate with business development and regional teams to deliver joined‑up campaigns.
  • Act as a brand guardian, ensuring consistent messaging and design.
  • Contribute to campaign reporting and analytics to measure success and inform future activity.
  • Support internal communications, including intranet updates and e‑newsletters.
  • Monitor social media channels and assist with ad hoc marketing activity.

About You

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Solid understanding of marketing best practices, including digital and social media.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with email tools such as Mailchimp and CMS platforms.
  • Good eye for design with experience using Canva or InDesign.
  • Able to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Degree (or equivalent) in Marketing, Communications, or Journalism.
  • Previous experience in a marketing or communications role.
  • Postgraduate marketing qualification (or working towards one) desirable.
