As the Senior Content Executive, you will play a pivotal role in delivering engaging and innovative content across the website. Your primary focus is to enhance the digital customer experience, supporting business goals through effective content marketing and lead generation.

Key duties:
- Assist the Digital Manager in governing content platforms, including the CMS and Content Planner Tool, implementing the content strategy across all website channels
- Utilise in-depth knowledge gained through research, analysis, and tools like Google Analytics and Content Square to inform decisions about website content, CRO, and overall content strategy
- Collaborate with the SEO agency and Digital Marketing Manager to deliver best practice copy, technical and on-page optimisation with a focus on increasing organic traffic
- Work closely with third-party agencies to ensure digital presence is fully optimised and always up to date, maximising the use of tools/assets
- Liaise with Product Owners and Marketing Managers to ensure product and service content is relevant, accurate, and effectively promotes benefits
- Oversee and maintain website content to ensure it aligns with the content plan, campaigns, digital best practices, brand guidelines, and the SEO strategy. Ensure content is optimised for lead generation
- Be an ambassador for web content marketing, proactively leading content initiatives across the business. Support the planning and execution of the content plan
- Plan, research, create, proofread, publish, and measure the performance of content, producing high-quality, compelling content aligned with target markets and business goals
- Ensure timely delivery of website content from planning through publication
- Own, update, and maintain the content team's work schedule, sharing it with the Digital Marketing manager, including project time frames and delivery dates
- Use qualitative and quantitative data to drive engagement and web conversions
- Work with the Digital team to be responsible for testing website development releases
Essential skills & experience:
- Educated to degree level in Marketing or English, or similar area of study or previous work experience in a related field
- Copywriting experience is a must
- Positive, can-do attitude with the ability to deliver to tight time frames
- Excellent time management skills
- Leadership skills to guide the digital content team and meet all deadlines
- Experience in the digital publishing environment, creating, editing, and publishing content is advantageous
- Experience in InDesign and Photoshop is advantageous
- Ability to participate and contribute as a team player while working independently
- Effective communication across departments and stakeholders
