Hours: 08:00 – 14:30 (exclude travel time)
Salary: £25,000 – £32,000

About the Role
We\’re looking for a Water Hygiene Engineer to join our client\’s team, covering sites across London and surrounding areas. This role involves regular driving in London, so applicants must be comfortable with city travel and ideally based nearby.
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Comfortable travelling in and around Central London
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar role
Key Duties:
- Conduct water hygiene monitoring (L8 compliance), including temperature checks, sampling, and logbook maintenance
- Carry out cleaning, descaling, and disinfection of water systems, tanks, calorifiers, and cooling towers
- Test and dose closed system heating/chilled water and chlorine dioxide systems
- Complete site surveys and ensure accurate daily reporting
- Maintain stock levels in the company vehicle and follow all health & safety protocols
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent the company professionally while visiting customer sites and handling communications
- Follow company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines at all times
- Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of company-provided equipment and vehicle
- Ensure stock of necessary materials and chemicals is maintained in the company van
- Accurately report hazards, incidents, and near misses to the Line Manager
- Wear all required PPE correctly and comply with site-specific safety requirements
