Lloyd Recruitment Services is working with a leading Plant Hire Company that supplies power tools, small plant machinery, generators, and temporary site cabins/vans throughout Southeast. The company is based on the outskirts of East Grinstead, and therefore applicants must have a valid driving license.

- Standard working hours 8am - 5pm (1-hour lunch), Monday to Friday

This is an amazing opportunity to join a tight-knit friendly team, making the role your own while being given great support and training. No day will be the same; however, regular weekly tasks involve:
- Checking returned tools, cleaning/maintaining, ready for next hire
- Cleaning/Valeting cabins after hires, ready for the next customer
- Ensuring all maintenance schedules are completed
- Delivering machinery and cabins to client premises (either by van or towing), driving company vehicles around the Southeast
- Conducting PAT testing on electrical appliances
- Operating materials handling equipment (forklifts) and moving equipment around site
- Working with the wider team ensuring the smooth running of the depot
The role will offer training and support in all areas. The ideal applicant will be put through various training courses. Applicants do not need to have previous experience in all parts of the role; however, any relevant crossover experience will be beneficial. What is essential is an ability to learn, a practical mindset, a desire to take on new skills, and a team-oriented approach to work with and help across the depot.
The company, part of a wider group, will offer great career progression for the ideal applicant moving forward. A full, valid driving license is essential with no more than 3-6 points.
