Senior Payroll & Bookkeeper Our client is offering an opportunity for an experienced Payroll & Bookkeeper, who values a steady and focused work environment, wo work within a highly skilled and welcoming team. The role is full time role, working Monday to Friday 9.00am – 5.30pm. Benefits: Hybrid working is available with up to two days working from home per week, aswell as flexible working hours (after probation period). Private Health Care. Professional subscriptions paid.Responsibilities: Payroll: Preparing payroll for their clients Accurately input payroll data into the payroll software Deducting tax and national insurance payments Calculate Statutory Maternity Pay, Shared Parental Pay, Statutory Paternity Pay and Statutory Sick Pay Processing holiday, sick and maternity pay and expenses Calculating overtime, shift payments and pay increases Issuing P45's and other tax forms Dealing with HMRC Auto enrolment pension deductions Real time payroll reporting Maintain confidentiality at all timesBookkeeping: General bookkeeping for clients using Xero, Sage & Quickbooks Maintaining accurate records and managing deadlines efficiently Assisting with VAT returns and other compliance requirements Providing support to clients with Xero and other accounting software Assisting with Management AccountsAs a Senior Payroll & Bookkeeper you should have: Confidence in working with numbers Good spoken and written communication skills A high level of accuracy and attention to detail Team working skills Good organisational and time management skills Honesty Respect for confidential information Good IT skillsRefer a friend and earn up to £500!
