Parts Advisor – Lloyd Motor Group
Join Lloyd Motor Group, one of the UK\’s largest family‑run car retailer groups, as a Parts Advisor at our Houghton‑Le‑Spring Service Centre. Lloyd Motor Group has 40 retailers across Northern England and Southern Scotland, representing brands such as BMW, MINI, Land Rover, BYD, Volvo, Kia, Volkswagen, Skoda, INEOS, Honda, and BMW Motorrad.
Salary: Basic salary with on‑target earnings of £28,580 per year
Hours: 40 hours per week
Role Responsibilities
- Serve and issue stock to internal and external customers, ensuring parts department standards are met.
- Receive, correctly identify and warehouse incoming stock, and advise management if stock is low.
- Maintain best practice housekeeping standards for both stores and the retail section of the Parts Department.
- Promote and practice Parts Management policies when speaking to customers.
- Participate in the annual formal stock check.
Ideal Candidates
- Experience as a Parts Advisor within the motor industry.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Self‑motivated and IT literate.
- Strong numerical head and familiarity with codes.
- Ability to build trade business and manage online e‑Bay sales.
- Knowledge of EVHC processes.
