An exciting opportunity has arisen for a experienced Bodyshop Estimator to join our Aftersales team at Lloyd BMW & MINI South Lakes. Salary: Basic salary £32,000 per annum with OTE of £38,000. Hours: Monday – Friday 8.30am – 6pm, occasional Saturday mornings as required Role responsibilities: * Dealing with all customers in a courteous, helpful and professional manner. * Providing estimates for the cost of repair work. * Generating computer based estimates and carrying out vehicles imaging. * Ensuring all estimates are accurate, comprehensive and competitive. * Liaising with insurance companies and engineers, resolving all queries promptly and ensuring good working relations. * Handling customer complaints effectively, referring to management where necessary. * Liaising with the Parts Department staff on orders and ensuring customers are informed of availability for fitting. * Handing over vehicles when promised, explaining work and collecting any payments due. * Maintaining an accurate filing system. * Attending training courses as required, and keeping abreast of technical developments. * Observing all relevant Health & Safety procedures. * Follow up any unconverted estimates and recording results. * Carrying out other duties as required from time to time.
