This role is ideally suited to a vet with 3+ years’ experience, who is passionate about clinical excellence and keen to grow within a practice that regularly sees exotic species alongside small animal work.

The Role

You’ll be delivering high-quality first-opinion care with a caseload that includes exotics, small mammals, and companion animals. The team is especially keen to welcome someone who enjoys the variety and challenge of exotics and is confident (or looking to become confident) in managing these cases with care and continuity. Your work will focus on early diagnostics, clear treatment planning, and working cases through to resolution with the support of a collaborative team. Strong communication skills and a proactive, team-based approach are key.

About the Practice

This is a progressive, independently-owned clinic with a growing reputation for high standards and a diverse caseload — including regular exotic cases. You’ll be part of a 4-vet team supported by 6 experienced RVNs and a strong reception team. The practice leadership is passionate about development — multiple vets are working toward certificates, and the Head Vet is currently pursuing AVP status. You’ll have the freedom to develop your skills with exotics, and the team will fully support you if you’re working toward or considering a certificate in the area.
