A well-regarded, independent-minded small animal clinic near Preston is looking to welcome a vet to their friendly and experienced team. This is a modern, forward-thinking practice with 8 vets, a dedicated nursing team, and excellent facilities — including digital X-ray, in-house bloods, separate cat and dog wards and theatres, a dental suite, and laparoscopy and ortho kit. They also pride themselves on being rabbit-friendly and have a loyal, local client base.

The team is supportive and collaborative, with vets at different stages in their careers — making this a great environment for a recent graduate wanting to develop, or a more experienced vet looking for a progressive and varied role.

The Role:

  • Full-time, 4-day week (39 hours)
  • 1:3 Saturdays or 1:6 full weekends
  • Clinical freedom encouraged, with strong mentorship available
  • Varied caseload with opportunities in advanced soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery

Salary & Package:

  • Up to £65,000 depending on experience
