We’re excited to be supporting a thriving small animal practice in Essex—perfectly placed between the coast and the capital—who are now looking to welcome another Veterinary Surgeon to their friendly, experienced team.

The Practice

This is a purpose-built, modern facility equipped with all the expected toys, and a strong, supportive team environment to match. You’ll be joining a 3-vet team (including a certificate holder in dermatology), 4 RVNs, student nurses, VCAs, and a dedicated client care team. The Clinical Director brings a wealth of experience and is hands-on in mentoring and supporting career development.

The Role

  • Full-time ideally, but flexible or part-time hours can absolutely be discussed
  • No OOH, bank holidays or on-call – and a manageable 1 in 4 weekend rota
  • You’ll need to be confident in routine surgeries, medical cases, and comfortable with occasional sole charge
