We’re working with a modern, recently revamped practice near Bridgend, offering a salary of up to £70,000, no OOH, and true rota flexibility to suit your lifestyle. Whether you’re looking for full-time, part-time, long days, short days—or even time for a lunchtime beach walk—they’re happy to tailor things around the right person.
Why this role stands out:
- Competitive salary up to £70K depending on experience
- Flexibility in working patterns to suit your life and commitments
- No out-of-hours or overnight inpatient checks
- Paid lunch breaks (yes, really!)
- Practice culture that values people, not just rota coverage
Top-tier kit to support your clinical standards:

- ECG
- Endoscope
- Digital and dental x-ray
- In-house lab
- Access to regular CT scanning for deeper case workups
This is a genuinely well-equipped site where the team aims to investigate thoroughly in-house before considering referral—so it’s a great fit for vets who want to build confidence, follow cases through, and practice proper medicine.
The team you’ll be joining:
You’d be working alongside 2 experienced vets, 4 nurses (2 RVNs, 2 students), 10 VCAs, a dedicated reception crew and a brilliant Practice Manager. It’s a team-first environment with strong mentorship and a supportive, down-to-earth vibe. They also run regular charity initiatives and events to give back to the local community—so if you’re the type who enjoys team BBQs as much as team case discussions, you’ll feel right at home.
Additional perks include:
- 28 days holiday including bank hols (rising to 33 with service)
- Funded and tailored CPD—certificates fully supported
- Paid professional memberships (RCVS, VDS, BVA)
