As a Workshop Assistant at Lloyd Amiss Group Limited you will be responsible for assisting in the production of printed & embroidered garments for our workwear brands. You will also support other departments as required by the line manager.
Key tasks include:
- Preparing garments for decoration
- Organising deliveries and shipments
- Planning DTF print sheets
- Using the heat press to print garments
- Occasionally setting up and supervising embroidery machines

Key Responsibilities:
- Workshop Assistance: Take delivery from suppliers, checking in all the garments and allocating them to the relevant order. Pack orders once they are complete and ready to leave the workshop. Follow direct instruction from the workshop manager to ensure all safety protocols are followed. Keep the workshop a clean, tidy and safe space for all staff to work in. Support in other aspects as the business requires, which may include customer service, sales & use of accounting software.
- Printing: Plan DTF print sheets. Cut out DTF prints and prepare garments for printing. Use the cutter and cutting software as needed, where DTF prints are not suitable. Use the heat press for DTF (Direct-to-film) printing on to garments, as directed by the workshop manager.
- Embroidery: Remove backing from embroidered items. Trim, fold and ‘finish off’ embroidered items.
About the Company:
- Reporting: You will report directly to the workshop manager.
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM–2:00 PM, 20 hours per week (flexible for the right candidate).
- Remote Working: Not available for this role.
- Holidays: 112 hours with an additional day off for your birthday.
- Fairness (Pro-Rata Parity): Pay, bonuses and benefits will be calculated fairly and proportionally to the hours worked, ensuring full-time equivalence.
