We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Teacher of English to join the Languages, Literacy and Communication Area of Learning Experience. The post would be equally suitable for NQTs and teachers with more experience.
The Languages, Literacy and Communication AOLE at Llanwern High School is offering you an exciting opportunity to work with a highly-motivated, passionate and dedicated team of professionals. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic team which delivers excellent provision through engaging, challenging lessons and exciting enrichment opportunities, including theatre trips and a highly-successful Debate Club.
The LLC AOLE is supported by an experienced Literacy Intervention Tutor and Literacy Co-ordinator, and encompasses a number of middle leaders/aspiring middle leaders. All staff within LLC, regardless of their position, are supported in their development as practitioners through high-quality professional learning, and coaching and mentoring, in an environment where best practice is shared openly.
The successful candidates will be strong classroom teachers who are passionate about English and hence able to enthuse, engage and motivate pupils. They will be committed to high expectations and standard of work and be creative, inventive team players within the Languages, Literacy and Communication AOLE and the wider school.
