Job Description:

Role overview:

  • A service that is about much more than offering young people a roof over their head. It\’s about giving them a safe and inclusive home and help to achieve their potential, transition into independent living, and engage in employment or education
  • You’ll offer day-to-day emotional and practical support to motivate and empower young people to gain independence and reach their full potential
  • You’ll provide support and advice in line with support plans and as requested by the young person’s keyworker, working collaboratively as part of a team who embrace differences and creative thinking

What do you need to be considered for this role?

  • The ability to engage and build strong relationships with young people while understanding the impacts of homelessness, domestic abuse and trauma
  • A forward-thinking attitude to crisis response
  • The ability to remain calm and collected in challenging and traumatic situations

Location: Newport and Surrounding Areas

Contract: Part Time, Permanent

Hours: 23.5 hours per week.
